Kindle Publishing

Self-publishing has changed the world of book marketing and sales. Reaching a point of success with self-publishing however can be challenging, especially if you are publishing for the first time. If you make the wrong choices, you could stand to lose many sales and risk bad reviews that could ultimately affect your writing career. Worse still a bad review could affect your confidence.

Many writers hold the dream of what it would be like to be published, to have their books out there in the world for everyone to read. Getting published in the
traditional way however could take months and even years. With self-publishing things happen much more quickly basically you upload and that is it!

The frustrations of getting your first Kindle book to market at Amazon can be daunting, especially when it comes to formatting, after all appearances do matter and a good cover picture is key to attracting people to your finished product.
You do not essentially know what other people are seeing on their screens after they download your content. How you format it may look totally different on another computer in another part of the world - who knows?.
Attempting to self-publish is a step into unknown territory for many writers experienced or otherwise and when technical issues like simple formatting are getting in the way of progress, the side effects can directly affect the skill and desire to write at all.  My advice is to make sure that you read all of the instructions provided.

You may wonder how to get to the level of self-publishing success without the hassles of modern technology stepping in the way, even when it is essentially the technology helping you to publish.  For example, is it just my computer that has a mind of its own? Just be patient and take a deep breath.

If you write a book, almost every writer assumes they can charge the price they feel is fair for it. However, when trying to change prices on your first Kindle book at Amazon, you could experience difficulties. Pricing is pretty much decided for you, set by the availability of other similar books. Being restricted in the area of pricing for your own work may cause frustration and some authors may decide to throw in the
towel in respect of their self-publishing efforts at this stage, but don't because from small acorns, mighty oaks grow.

Becoming an experienced self-publishing author can have its rewards and kindle Amazon try to provide you with as much information as you need to make it a simple process.
Making your mark in the world of online self-publishing is possible. Some writers are making good money every month from their electronically published books.

Things may not be a huge success overnight but finally reaching that kind of writing and self-publishing success may be worth the frustrations you experience to
get there. My fingers are firmly crossed!
